If like me you’re longing to jump on a plane and take off for an adventure in a new city, today’s Inspired Interiors feature may help sooth that craving: a gorgeous New York City apartment with a definite Parisian Flare.
The 800 square foot apartment had a few original details, like herringbone floors and crown molding in the living room that fit with the Parisian concept. Designer Crystal Sinclair added additional details like a chair rail, hand applied decorative plaster moldings throughout, reclaimed beams in the kitchen as well as a plastered vent hood to really help embrace that Parisian Flare.
A marble countertop and fireplace, brass sconces, and zellige tile in the bathroom stayed true to ‘the jewel box’ her clients were after while adding elegance and depth to the space.
