We had the most beautiful weekend here in Calgary, sun filled days with warm temperatures.  It’s amazing how much the sun can energize and uplift our moods. Those of us who live in northern climates, long for summer.  And while the beautiful weather did remind me of all that I can’t quiet do, like drinks on a patio with friends and backyard BBQs, I was grateful for the ease and lightness that comes with this time of year.

This past week flew by in a complete blur or maybe it’s just that one day seems to blend into the other.  If it weren’t for putting together the Tuesday 10 every week, I’m not sure I’d have a sense of the day or week.  While I hope you enjoy my weekly collection of links from around the web, know that I do this for me, more than you! 😉

And just like that Easter has come and gone.  I hope you had a restful weekend sprinkled with moments of joy.  I actually celebrated my birthday this weekend and while it was definitely a new experience to celebrate it alone, there was a lot of goodness in it too.  Namely, no pressure to make plans.  I love a good party and love planning them too – just not when I’m the focus.  So every year the thought of planning something for my birthday often leaves me paralyzed.  This year that pressure was gone.  And it was lovely.
