I realize the actual line is ‘magic mirror on the wall ….’ but it didn’t have the same effect as the title for this post. So, mirror, mirror on the wall it is. Now that I’ve cleared that up, any guesses what today’s post is about? 😉 That’s right – mirrors! They are one of the most used tools in a designers toolbox. Mirrors can help create the illusion of more space, brighten a room, and add impact and interest for a fraction of the cost of art.
This weeks home tour is a little close to home … it’s my living room reveal. Since I live in a 900 square foot condo, my living room includes my dining room 🙂 First seen on Glitter Guide, I thought I would share it here in case you missed it and give you a little more of the behind the scenes and how I put it together.
They say it’s wise to hit the pause button every so often. To allow yourself a moment to reflect, regroup and if need be realign. That’s what I did last week. It’s been three years since I first hit publish on this blog and while in many ways it feels like just yesterday, in many more ways it feels like a lifetime ago. I am so incredibly proud of what this blog has become. But in a world where new blogs are popping daily and inspiration is driven by dollar signs over joy and community, it’s easy to feel insignificant and overpowered.
