And just like that it’s February! I’m not entirely sure where January went, but I’m not mad about it. February means we’re closer to spring, longer days, warmer temperatures and yes, Valentine’s Day. Truth be told I’m not one to typically decorate for Valentine’s Day, but in extraordinary times, I find myself doing extraordinary things. For instance, my Christmas tree is still up! So I figured I would leave it up, add some hearts to it and enjoy it for a little while longer, because why not? If you’re inspired to sprinkle some Valentine’s Day inspired decor throughout your home, I’ve rounded up some of my favourite finds below.
One more week until the BIG day … Valentines Day that is. Do you love it? Hate it? Somewhere in between? I can’t say I’m a crazy, sappy fan, but I think any day devoted to celebrating love is a good thing. And despite being unattached for more Valentine’s Days than I’ve been attached, I still have hope. However, I know the day can be tough for some. In fact, I actually have a few friends that are single by choice but as soon as it gets to Valentine’s, they become eager for some companionship. Perhaps it’s love in their air, who knows, but I think it’s lovely. One of my friends opted to spend time with the best escort varese has to offer because they didn’t want to be alone on Valentine’s day. I can understand that. I’ve created my fair share of love inspired content. So I thought I would round up some of my favourite Valentines Inspiration from years gone by. (Please forgive some of the photography of my early blogging days – we call started somewhere!)
And just like that January is gone and February in all it’s candy heart glory is here! Sappy? Yes. Commercialized? Definitely. Fun? Absolutely! Despite the gushy, over the top romanticism of the day, I love Valentines Day. A day to celebrate love in all it’s forms – yes please. One of my favourite ways to celebrate the month of love, is with a Galentine’s Soiree. As a single woman well into her 30s, my girlfriends are my everything. My chosen family. The ones who support me, love me and cheer me on. Without them, I’d quiet simply be lost.
