While the temperatures around here have dropped dramatically with fall’s arrival, this weeks inspired interiors home tour is a light and bright coastal treat. And while you may not live near the ocean, there are plenty of smart style lessons to be gleaned.
In keeping with the coastal theme this week (click here if you missed my Nautical Nursery post), I’ve got a house tour that personifies small, but mighty. Despite the meager foot print this weeks Inspired Interiors selection is cozy, curated and gorgeous. Designer Raquel Garcia combines a thoughtful selection of colour and texture with clean shiplap and enviable natural light to create a space that feels much larger than it is. A beautiful mix of modern elements, traditional pieces and luxe finishes creates a home that is beautiful and inviting. Enjoy!
This year I made the conscious decision to work through summer, I have a number of exciting projects slated and wanted to give myself permission to put everything else (think: travel, lazy afternoons spent on patios through out the city, and getting out to the mountains) on hold. I’d be lying if I said it hasn’t been challenging, but the fruits of my labour so to speak have been worth it and I have some amazing content and project reveals coming soon.
But until then, if like me you’re working through the summer, let’s live vicariously through this weeks Inspired Interiors feature, a stunning lake house on Ontario’s Lake Rosseau. Tunneling hallways covered in beadboard, a boathouse that is literally on the water and a colour palette that if you read last week’s Colour Crush post, you’ll know I love.
