The past couple years, I’ve taken a more minimal approach to my holiday decorating. Busier schedules, just didn’t seem to lend enough energy to go all out. With things a little more freed up this year, I’ve decided to really deck the halls. Hosting friends for a night of bubbles and bites may have something to do with the extra push. I find I’m always a bit more inspired to make things pretty when I’m hosting 🙂
If you’re feeling a simpler vibe for this holiday season, today’s home tour may just be the ticket. A gorgeous neutral palette, Laine & Layne prove that simple doesn’t have to be boring. In fact when done right, it can be elegant and incredibly festive.
With the flip of the calendar to December, it’s going to be all things Christmas and holidays around here! Although, I have to say I feel a bit late to the game. Christmas seemed to arrived earlier than ever this year. Not that I’m complaining. It takes everything in me not to start posting about the holidays right after Halloween. In fact I read somewhere that those who decorate for the holidays early are happier than those who don’t. Good enough for me – let’s dive into today’s post on Decking the Halls.
Valentines is once again upon us! And although I find myself unattached for the holiday, I love this time of year nonetheless, mostly because of the abundance of roses, it’s a celebration of love and the perfect excuse to bake treats and pull out the red and pink decor!
