This weeks inspired interiors home tour is a gorgeous home in Rumson, NJ. Full disclosure I had to google Rumson and I’m so glad I did. It’s a lovely community just a 45 minute ferry ride from Manhattan. Described as having a Hampton’s like feel, families are moving from the city in favor of a quieter, suburban lifestyle.
Designer Maureen Ursino helped her clients in search of just that lifestyle, create a home that is both elevated and approachable. She achieved that balance by combining a neutral palette, simple silhouettes, and lots of texture. Selecting materials that were earthy, handmade and neutral in colour helped to create an organic feel. And the overall result is a home that is stylish and kid friendly.
