If you’ve been here a while you’ll know my love of giving new life to previously loved, well lived in spaces. This weeks Inspired Interiors feature is just that. Built in 1899, this historic home is located in Hastings-on-Hudson—a quaint town along New York’s Hudson River. Designer Becca Casey of Becca Interiors chose to celebrate the history of the home by keeping its original integrity while implementing cosmetic changes and a fresh palette. Paint, texture, and modern accents create the perfect balance.
There is so much to love about this lovely home, but my favourite might just be the precious nursery. Gorgeous Jasper wallpaper, contrasted with pops of cinnamon velvet, blush, and mint has an old world feel that I adore. The room feels like sunshine. What’s your favourite?
