Fall not only brings with it beautiful colours, flavours and layers, but the spirit of gathering – gathering of harvests and gathering with friends and family.  For me there is nothing more joyous that sharing a meal, good conversation and laughter with loved ones, so Thanksgiving is especially important.

This year, our cozy Thanksgiving table is set in a non-traditional cobalt and copper theme.  Truth be told, I fell in love with the beautiful place mats from Pier1 Imports and their gorgeous copper cutlery, and built the table around it!

A quick coat of spray paint on some plastic gourds and my unconventional Thanksgiving table was set.
