Anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE a good tablescape. I love creating them, I love dining at them, I love everything about them. While Thanksgiving has come and gone here in Canada and I’ve moved on to Christmas tablescapes (I can’t wait to show you what I’ve come up with!!!); in honour of America Thanksgiving, I thought I would pull together some of the most inspired tablescapes from around the web to spark creativity and excitement for setting your own Thanksgiving or Christmas table.
Happy Thanksgiving to my American Friends!
I absolutely love this dark and mysterious tablescape from Rose & Ivy. The rich velvet emerald green tablecloth creates a striking contrast against the white and gold plates and flatware. The pears and purple cabbage rosettes add texture and almost a rustic feel to the look. Perfection.

Is there anything better than dining Al Fresco? Unfortunately in this part of world, it is far too cold at Thanksgiving to dine outside, but in many parts of the United States, it is completely within the realm of possibility and this incredible table from Style Me Pretty Living is full of all kinds of inspiration. Rustic and elegant all at the same time, with wood elements mixed with beautiful floral dishes and the most amazing centerpiece.

This next table is relaxed elegance at it’s best. A simple linen tablecloth topped with pastel hues, heirloom pumpkins, brass accents and the most incredible bay leaf garland to create an inviting and subtly romantic table for guests.

I shared this next tablescape on Instagram and have been obsessed with it ever since. It’s actually quite a simple table, pumpkins in various different sizes painted matte black, matte blue, white and gold, with just a touch of orange. Paired with gorgeous matte black flatware, simple dishes and seasonal herbs tied in twine, the look is perfect rustic elegance.

Carrying on with the blue theme is this next table from Celebrating Everyday Life. Timeless blue and white china is paired with a fall staple, the pine cone and chocolate brown accents in the most striking and sophisticated table. I simply love how she used the pine cone as a card holder for each setting!

And lastly, a girl after my own heart, Landyn Hutchinson of Living with Landyn created the most chic and elegant table using DIY spray painted pumpkins, something I did myself last year. White and gold are the theme, with simple china, silver flatware and dried eucalyptus to finish off the look. Perfection.
