If like me you’re longing to jump on a plane and take off for an adventure in a new city, today’s Inspired Interiors feature may help sooth that craving: a gorgeous New York City apartment with a definite Parisian Flare.
When it comes to decorating for the holidays, it’s easy to go overboard. For some that’s the name of their game, and I relish in their enthusiasm and joy. I however err on the side of simple, classic and neutral holiday decor. Layering in natural elements and a bit of sparkle to things I already have, to create an accessible and elegant celebration.
Designer Orsi Panos does just that in her own home and I couldn’t be more in love.
There is no denying my love of neutral spaces has grown over the years. There is something so timeless and elegant about a space layered in neutral tones and textures. Add beautiful worn elements, like wood, stone and antique pieces and you’re likely to see me salivating. Today’s Inspired Interiors feature, Neutral Love, is just such a space. Designed by homeowner Sheila Bouttier, this home is a lesson in working in a neutral palette with black accents that keep the home from feeling boring. Truly one of my favourite home tours to date.
