If you’ve been here for any length of time you will have heard me talk about the charm of older homes and what luck and joy it is to work on them. This weeks Inspired Interiors home tour is just that. A 1920s Tudor style home in the Hollywood Hills.
Designer Caitlin Sourapas highlighted the homes charm by keeping historical elements like the original windows, bookshelves and a build-in bar. She then added details like arched bookshelves and a trim to the kitchen cabinets that honored the heritage and style of the home. When it came to furnishing the home, Caitlin and the homeowners stuck to stylish comfort with a few unexpected and antique details mixed in.
