This week’s inspired interiors home tour is once again appeasing my deep yearning to travel. The House of Jade Interiors designers were tasked with incorporating elements from Norway, England and Chile, countries their clients had strong ties to. The result is a Rustic Scandinavian Modern home that celebrates a simple life in the home.
I am once again satisfying my longing to travel through beautiful interiors. This weeks Inspired Interiors feature is an apartment renovation that has a certain European je ne sais quoi. Part of a 1900’s Newport home that was converted into apartments in the late 20th century, the team at Moore House Design restored it to it’s original Victorian character, while adding in touches of eclectic Parisian charm. The transformation is light, airy and sophisticated.

If you’ve been here a while you’ll know my love of giving new life to previously loved, well lived in spaces. This weeks Inspired Interiors feature is just that. Built in 1899, this historic home is located in Hastings-on-Hudson—a quaint town along New York’s Hudson River. Designer Becca Casey of Becca Interiors chose to celebrate the history of the home by keeping its original integrity while implementing cosmetic changes and a fresh palette. Paint, texture, and modern accents create the perfect balance.
