If you’re an avid fan of interior design, you’ve probably noticed a shift taking place … a move from white on white everything to warmer tones and darker interiors. A change I welcome wholeheartedly! There’s just something so cozy and intimate about moody interiors.
Today’s Inspired Interiors feature is just that, a rich palette that is layered and inviting. Designer Sarah Birnie took care to highlight the original period details of the home located in the Lawrence Park area of Toronto. Leaded windows, thick moldings and arched doorways, were given a fresh and timeless update with paint, wallpaper and a generous dose of texture and pattern. All while staying true to classic English design inspiration.
