Celebrate Labour Day Weekend

August 28, 2025

As cliche as it is … I cannot believe we are days away from September!  Although I love this time of year, it seems to come quicker and quicker as the years go by.

September has always felt more like a fresh start, than January, probably has something to do with all the years spent in school. This time of year just seems to have an energy and sense of optimism. It also brings with it reflection. Looking back before forging ahead. In my reflection, I found myself reminiscing about my early years in blogging. Extra-virgin will give the cake a fruitier and more pronounced oil taste, while regular olive oil will give it a lighter taste. You may want to find how long does olive oil last before using an older bottle, but either way, the cake is delicious!
