I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but I love a neutral and organic interior. To me nothing feels fresher and more relaxing. Designer Lisa Sherry created just that vibe in this weeks Inspired Interiors feature. Transforming it into her client’s forever home in the process. Overly elegant architectural details and don’t-touch Romanesque decorating was replaced with family friendly, real life design. Including pieces that marry function and aesthetic – the best kind in my opinion. Because a space shouldn’t be so delicate that you can’t kick up your feet, relax and be yourself!
A couple months ago I was asked to design the main stage for the Calgary Fall Home Show. An undertaking I knew a little something about, as I was a featured designer at the Home + Garden Show earlier this year.
My personal design esthetic definitely leans towards traditional lines with a touch of glam and thoughtful pops of colour.
