Outdated wallpaper, closed off spaces, drop ceilings, and old can lighting were replaced with an open concept floor plan and modern accents. Creating the illusion of much more volume and space, while making the home more conducive to how we live in 2020.
This weeks inspired interiors home tour is a gorgeous home in Rumson, NJ. Full disclosure I had to google Rumson and I’m so glad I did. It’s a lovely community just a 45 minute ferry ride from Manhattan. Described as having a Hampton’s like feel, families are moving from the city in favor of a quieter, suburban lifestyle.
To say that I am obsessed with everything Amber Interiors does would be a colossal understatement. The homes she designs are steeped in character, the kinds of spaces that have stories to tell. They are worn, without feeling dated. And in fact feel incredibly fresh, without being trendy. Her homes are cozy, inviting and I could happily move into any one of them.
