If you’ve been following along over the years, you’ll have noticed that there’s one colour that pops up in my designs time and time again: blue. And while I love everything from a saturated navy to the palest of sky blues, my current obsession is French Blue. The perfect cool blue and inherently sophisticated, I mean it’s named after one of the chicest countries in the world!
Perhaps it’s my yearning to spend a summer in France or perhaps it’s because when paired with white it creates the most fresh and crisp look. Whatever the reason for my current turn to this particular shade of blue, I’m loving it.
Is there a colour you’re currently crushing on? What do you think of this shade of blue? I’ve got a feeling after scrolling through these images, you’ll be just as obsessed as me.

Suzanne Kasler designed the living room. Several of the upholstered and case goods are sold by Ballard Designs.
I love the kitchen island color. I bought a sample of Benjamin Moore Hearthstone, but it doesn’t show any of the blue hues. It is a pretty color, but it is gray. Could the island paint color be any other color? I can’t seem to find anything that matches yet and would appreciate any suggestions!
